Surgical Services

The surgical services department at OSU Medical Center offers a safe and comfortable environment for both patients and personnel in order to provide optimum assistance to surgeons in meeting the preventative and restorative health needs of the patients.

The department consists of surgery suites in the main hospital, an ambulatory surgery center, and prescreening and post-anesthesia care units to support both areas.

Services are provided for operative and other invasive procedures. Immediate post-operative care is given on a 24-hour basis for inpatients and outpatients.
